Lesson in Project Management.

I just spoke to my general contractor this morning. He just informed me of some of the cost of the construction and I was flabbergasted.

Mechanical HVAC, plumbing, electricity all cost that I knew existed but didn't expect to run that high.

Something I am going to have to re-learn or accept in any project I will attempt is that:

-Projects are always harder than they seem to be.
-Projects always take longer than they should.
-Projects cost more than they ought to be.

If anyway tells you otherwise they are definitely smoking something and the good stuff.

I am feeling a little stress with the knowledge of that cost hanging over us. I am putting my request for funds today and I will see how things will turn out.
